P-2 WALLET

The anniversary batch (10 years after its launch and over 10,000 copies sold in retail and B2B) contains 4 models, of which 3 are printed (in metallic and neon colors, sending to tech and fashion aesthetics):

Violet Green (Metallic Violet + Neon Green), Blue Pink (Metallic Blue + Neon Pink) and Green Yellow (Metallic Green + Neon Yellow). The metallic look contrasts the fragility of the paper, but it also stands for the fact that this material is much more resistant over time than one would think. Neon colors “analogously” compete with the intense colors of screens.
The fourth model is Pure White. It is unprinted, reminding the many mockups I made and tested in the design process. With a minimalist design, it offers the same functionality, without decorative elements. The focus is only on the graphic details provided by folding and cutting. Although it seems unbranded, the P-2 logo will show up embossed on both sides after a while, due to the slow pressing of a die cut inner layer. It is also a “white canvas”, ready to receive stickers or acrylic marker drawings from its owner. The wear areas at the corners will be less visible than in printed models, the surface and edge of the paper being both white.

P-2 WALLET – design description:

– A unisex wallet, very light and compact (130 x 85 x 12 mm) made of paper (170g/sqm), offset printed.
– Double-sided plasticised paper that keeps Pantone colors intact over time.
– Manual assembly of origami type, without gluing or sewing.
– A main compartment with central folding for European standard banknotes or other documents. It also contains two slots for the card in an upright position.
– Two medium compartments for ID card and cards, with two mini windows (sliders) for quick access.
– The central fold allows the wallet to be loaded without tensing it.
– the wallet remains functional after a wash in the washing machine
– After a month of daily wearing in your pocket, the P-2 logo appears embossed on both sides, due to an inner die cut layer.
– The initially matte outer layer, becomes glossy after a long use.
– The wallet, being carried daily in the pocket, was still functional after two and a half years.
